I enjoy making films with a devotional quality, motivated by societal need for healing and the will to reduce suffering in the world. To do this, I think it is essential to challenge the status quo in a multitude of ways, addressing different dimensions of what we call “mind.” I try to remind myself to transmute passion into compassion. My films explore consciousness and human behavior, highlight healing modalities, individual liberatory practices and social justice issues.
I am influenced by those who painstakingly fine-tuned their work, who challenge and expand our attention. I want to create work that stands the test of time and provides more meaning on repeat viewings.
