Thought and Fear
Filmed in the San Rafael Swell of southern Utah in 2010 and made specifically for horror-themed "An October Evening", Thought and Fear explores the kinship between mind-wandering, imagination and paranoia through the experience of a sensitive backpacking wanderer. As he goes deeper into "nature," his mind starts playing tricks, and we wonder if he'll ever manage to regain sanity. The film offers a contemplative, epic experience flooded with symbolism and innovative use of composite imagery, where "fear" is taken to mean any self-induced tension or suffering. The music was performed live at the premier in October 2010.
